Anam A. Khan is a Law and Policy Analyst at the Center for Public Health Law Research. In this role, she is responsible for researching, building, and coding legal datasets on a variety of public health law topics.

Prior to joining the Center, Anam worked as a Health Policy Associate with Missouri Foundation for Health. In that role, she researched and analyzed health policies and evidence-based policy solutions that could help improve health equity in Missouri. She also served as the primary writer for policy publications, which promoted education and advocacy around various public health and equity issues.

In law school, Anam served as a Staff Editor and Spring Managing Editor with the Journal of Health Law and Policy at Saint Louis University (SLU) School of Law. She interned with Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, American Association of Orthodontists, and the St. Louis City Health and Human Services Committee, and worked as a faculty fellow on a legal mapping project with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Anam received her J.D. from SLU Law in 2021 with a concentration in Health Law. In 2018, she received her M.P.H. in Health Management and Policy and Epidemiology from SLU’s College for Public Health and Social Justice. She is currently licensed to practice law in Missouri.
