Law and Policy Analyst

Sabrina Ruchelli is a Law and Policy Analyst with the Policy Surveillance Program at the Center for Public Health Law Research. In that capacity she is responsible for researching, building, and coding legal datasets on a wide variety of public health topics, including tobacco pricing strategies and medication assisted treatment for opioid addictions. Sabrina joined the Program as a postgraduate Catalyst Fellow from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. 

While in law school, Sabrina had internships with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, working on a variety of civil and criminal matters, and with the City of Philadelphia Law Department, working with attorneys in the city’s Regulatory Affairs division. She also participated in the Penn Law Civil Practice Clinic, representing and counseling clients as a student attorney on a broad array of civil issues. Sabrina also served as an Executive Editor for Volume 167 of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review, and was one of the inaugural recipients of the Toll Public Interest Fellowship. 

Sabrina graduated with a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2019, and with a B.A. in History from the University of Delaware in 2015.
