Technical Research Coordinator

Nadya Prood is the Technical Research Coordinator for the Center for Public Health Law Research (CPHLR). Ms. Prood assists with researching and evaluating the implications of public health laws on society, and the writing of reports and articles. Prior to joining the CPHLR Ms. Prood completed her MPH where she worked as a graduate research assistant under three principal investigators on research studies in the areas of mental health and substance abuse. For her master’s thesis, Ms. Prood conducted a qualitative analysis of message boards discussing opioid use. Ms. Prood has also worked in research at Temple University, Adult Anxiety Clinic of Temple and the University of Pennsylvania, Treatment Research Center. Some of Ms. Prood’s public health interests include program and policy evaluation, social determinants of health and mental health/ substance abuse.

Ms. Prood earned her MPH from Emory University, Rollins School of Public Health in Behavioral Science and Health Education concentrating in Mental Health in 2018 and her BS in Business Administration from American University, Kogod School of Business in 2013.
