
The theme for the 2012 conference is Public Health Law Targets of Opportunities. The 2012 conference will highlight research that provides evidence about how law can be used to improve population health. Day one of the conference will be for new PHLR grantees only. Day two is open to all conference registrants and will include invited speakers, concurrent paper presentations, and a dinner reception. Day three will include participatory discussion sessions on Public Health Law Targets of Opportunities moderated by topical expert panelists.
Conference registration fee is $125.00 and will cover meals for Thursday and Friday and includes the annual meeting reception on Thursday evening. Payments must be made on-site with checks payable to Temple University.
Note: The Conference Registration fee will be waived for selected presenters. PHLR grantees with active grants as of June 1, 2011, will have all conference and travel expenses covered through the National Program Office. For details on travel and hotels in New Orleans, click here. PHLR has a conference rate for our hotel but there are no available rooms as of 12.20.2011. However, the conference is located in the French Quarter and the neighborhood offers many convenient hotel options.
Online registration is now closed for the PHLR Annual Meeting. You may register on-site at the Registration Lobby of Hotel Monteleone on January 18th and 19th.Payments must be made on-site with checks payable to Temple University.
